ALC-PRO VIETNAM Co., Ltd. (APV) provides the “Alcohol Test Data Management Safety System” service as an application to support the use of breath alcohol testing devices provided by the company.
This service is provided under a separate service agreement for the “Alcohol Test Data Management Safety System”.
This document is intended to inform users about our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information related to the use of our services.
By using our services, users are considered to have agreed to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. All personal information collected will be used solely for the purpose of providing and improving the service. We are committed to not using or sharing information for purposes outside the scope of this policy.
The terms used in this policy, unless otherwise defined, have the same meanings as in the Terms of Use accessible through the “ALC Management System for Professional Drivers” application.
To improve service quality, we may request users to provide certain personal information, such as device information, usage data, location information, health data, etc.
This information will be stored by us and used strictly in accordance with this privacy policy.
When users use the application or when an error occurs in the application, we may collect data and information from the user’s device, referred to as “log data.”
This may include: IP address, device name, operating system version, application settings, usage time, and other statistical information.
This data will not be transmitted unless the user actively performs a sending action.
We provide services by transmitting information from the user’s device, including breath alcohol concentration test results and information entered by the user during app usage, to cloud servers managed by the company or by authorized partners on behalf of the company.
This information, including facial images, is stored in databases on cloud servers to the extent necessary to provide, maintain, and improve the services. Authorized partners involved in the development, operation, and maintenance of the software on behalf of the company may access this information within the scope required to perform their assigned tasks. These partners are obligated to maintain the confidentiality of the information, not disclose or use it for any purposes other than those stated above, and comply with applicable data protection regulations.
We may use this information for the purposes described below. The information will only be used in a non-personally identifiable form, except when it is necessary to use personally identifiable information for identity verification to provide the services or technical support as needed.

This service will display and use the following information retrieved from the cloud server, but will not send it externally, except when sending emails to the user’s configured address or when collecting log data.
– User ID
– Full name
– Password
– Configured user email address
We do not share customers’ personal information with any third parties for marketing purposes or for purposes unrelated to providing our services.
However, we may share information with authorized partners who are directly involved in the development, operation, and maintenance of the software on behalf of the company, for the following purposes:
– To support users and improve service quality
– To provide services and technical support
– To assist in analyzing service usage
Regarding facial image data, we only share this data with authorized software development partners when necessary to provide application features and support users, within the scope of the agreed work, and only if these partners have signed confidentiality and personal data protection agreements with the company.
These authorized partners are permitted to access and process personal information only to the extent necessary to perform the agreed services. They are bound by data protection agreements requiring them to protect user data in a manner consistent with this privacy policy and to comply with applicable regulations. We do not allow these partners to use personal information for any purposes other than providing, maintaining, and improving our services.
We value the trust users place in us by providing their personal information and strive to protect it using commercially reasonable technical measures. However, as no transmission method over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Users cannot view all of their personal information directly within the application, except for data related to alcohol concentration measurement results and facial images captured at the time of identity verification registration.
Users have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information, including collected facial image data, through the management company that has a service agreement with APV. Upon receiving such a request, the management company will verify the request and assist in exercising these rights within the scope permitted by applicable laws.
Users may also request to withdraw their consent to the collection and use of their personal information. However, if a user refuses to allow the use of their information or requests the deletion of their personal information, they may not be able to use all or part of the application, or may be required to uninstall the application.
Personal information, including facial image data, will be retained for as long as the management company contracted with APV maintains the service usage, and will continue to be retained for 13 months after the termination of the service or for up to 3 years from the date of collection, whichever period is longer. Information will be deleted after this retention period unless the user requests earlier deletion or unless otherwise required by law.
We may update this privacy policy. Therefore, we encourage users to periodically check this page for changes. Any updates will be announced by posting the new privacy policy on this page.
This policy is effective from June 1st, 2025.
